Wedding Carriages
I just watched Pride and Prejudice (the Colin Firth version) again, and since I've been thinking about weddings, I couldn't help noting the wonderful carriages they were driving.
Mind you, I'm glad I don't have to spend my time traveling by horse and carriage, but for a day or a few hours? They're so romantic.
So here are some wonderful modes of transportation for weddings:

I've always wanted to ride in a carriage. It looks like so much fun.
Love the photos! :)

Oh my goodness, Myrna, I love those. I rode in a carriage once to do a tour of New Orleans and it was the coolest experience. How much better would it be to be a bride with your prince charming riding away in one of those gorgeous white confections. Yum

I've been on several carriage rides through historic cities and loved them. You can see so much more than from a car. I think they would be a wonderful mode of transportation for a bride.

And think, with gas prices going up, it's probably cheaper to feed a horse than a car!
Just kidding. But I do love the carriages. There's something so charming about them.

Brilliant idea, Myrna. I already have a horse. Now I need a carriage!! (Preferably white and romantic with a handsome driver in a top hat.)
