That’s what happens when you post with flu. You forget things…
This month will include a blog from a beautiful bride and groom…my daughter and son-in-law. My editor will be dropping by to chat about her unusual and beautiful honeymoon destination, as will other editors from the Mills & Boon London office. I have a few rather unusual wedding stories – one woman who married three times to different men of different cultural persuasions, all of which made for unique wedding ceremonies...and another set of three weddings: my friend who married the same man three times (shades of Elizabeth Taylor? Wait and see!), and all with varying cultural and religious aspects.
And speaking of cultural aspects, my dear longtime friend Diane Gaston, Historical Author, will be here on October 16 to discuss a traditional Regency Wedding, and to give away a copy of her sensational next book, Scandalizing The Ton. Woohoo!
Also my dear friend and new Desire and Presents author, Robyn Grady, will be stopping by later in the month, giving away one of her fabulous books, and discussing her own interesting wedding and honeymoon.
Brand-new HR author Michelle Douglas will be popping by near the end of the month with her elopement story...oh, to have a wedding and honeymoon like that! She's also offered her most recent release as a prize.
What a great month coming up! My own editor at Mills & Boon, Lucy Gilmour, will be dropping by to discuss her adventurous and exotic honeymoon locale.
Another fantastic Mills & Boon editor, Emily Ruston (I know she's fantastic, she edited two of my books) will be dropping by on September 18 to discuss the gorgeous, exotic locale for her proposal, and another one yet again for her wedding...
I have Karen Watson, wedding photographer extraordinaire, dropping by to discuss some unusual places she’s been to snap shots – with some really unusual wedding pictures.
A friend of mine will be telling the experience of the most adventuous pre-wedding, blunt proposal and action-packed wedding I've ever heard...
And in Julie’s persona, I will be showing you some rather unique places I’ve personally been to that could be a unique honeymoon destination for any of you considering marriage, and not really wanting to do the tried and true places your friends or parents did. Warning: as above shows, this could range from the sublime to the extremely unusual...
I’m still hoping for news from a European wedding planner who hasn’t yet answered me. Let’s keep hoping!
