Regina Stops By...

Hello, everyone. I've been here before, just to comment now and then, but this is my first true visit all my own.

I'm Regina, the photographer for The Wedding Belles and I absolutely adore my work (even more than I adore cute, quirky shoes). My cameras are cherished possessions, almost like old friends and I love weaving a story for a bride and groom on their wedding day. When the day ends, the photos live on, images and memories that they can cherish forever and show their children and their grandchildren.

That's why it's rather strange and a bit sad that I have no pictures from my own wedding day. Dell married me…well, because his cousin had deserted me when I was frightened and alone, and Dell felt I needed saving. He married me because he's a man of honor. The wedding was unexpected and sudden and I really don't remember much of it.

The thing is that almost a year has gone by and I'm feeling more than a little guilty now that he married me at all. Dell and I aren't in love. We're polite but we barely know each other, and the truth is that he should have been free to choose his wife. He should have had a stunningly beautiful big wedding with a woman from his own social class, a real wedding with a happy ending.

I think I'm going to have to let him go…

There must be love since you've been with Dell almost a year. Don't give up on your marriage. Get to know one another, have a courtship and I'm sure the love you feel with be real.

Regina, I think you need to take yesterday's dream wedding quiz and dream a little, sweetie. You sound a little down to me.

As for Dell, he sounds like a keeper to me!

Don't be so quick to let him go, Regina! Dell is a grown man who made his own choices. No one forced him to marry you. No one is forcing him to stay married. Hang in there, sweetie. The two of you could have something really special if you give it a chance!

Hi, Your shoes are adorable! I love the colors. I believe everything happens for a reason and they work out for the best. Sometimes, I think the first year of marriage is the most difficult. Cindi

I think you need to sit down and have an honest talk with Dell and learn about each other. He may well be in love with you and used his cousin deserting you as an excuse to marry you.

Give it time things are sometime rocky in the beginning. You need to set down and really talk. You need to become friends and then things will work out.

From Julie the general assistant...

Regina, you can't give up now! Dell is such a wonderful man! Okay, he's a little quiet and reserved, but he's so giving and kind and I'm sure he loves you deep down. Why else would he have married you?

Please don't give up now. I found my happy ending with Matt, I know you'll find yours too!
