Coming Up This Week...
This week, we've got Kane Wiley, hero from SOS Marry Me! stopping by. We also have two guest bloggers. On Tuesday, florist Anne Ryan will talk about the most memorable wedding she's done so far and on Thursday, Elizabeth Wiggs, daughter of writer Susan Wiggs, will tell us about making plans for her wedding. There will also be posts by The Wedding Planners authors on Wednesday and Friday so be sure to pay a visit.
I'll be blogging at
The Pink Heart Society on Thursday, June 12th, and talking about how this entire continuity series came together. I'm using the actual emails sent by us back in June 2006. It should be fun!

Yesterday I went to a bridal shower. The bride's mom wanted pretty stamps on the invitations. But because of the change in stamp prices, the invitations weighed an amount where the pretty stamps hadn't come in yet. Besides that, they had to go to the effort of sticking two stamps on each.
Plus, they had waited 16 weeks and the bridal gown still wasn't in!
BTW, it was the fourth bridal shower for her and they made it Pampered Chef so everyone got them kitchenware. Anybody heard of doing that?

My daughter had her bridal shower Sunday and everything was fabulous - I couldn't have asked for a nicer day.
Today we went for her 3rd fitting because they goofed (made it 2 inches too small) and we found out after an hour or more that her dress was not only off kilter in front (after being told it could be fixed) but the huge crease in the middle that was to be fixed (DIDN'T HAPPEN) and apparently wasn't going to happen WE HAD TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER DRESS!!!!!!!!! This one is now $160 MORE - ARGHHHHHHHHHHH.
